MAP Fellow

Prakhya completed her B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) from Jindal Global Law School in 2022. Before joining MAP, she worked in the Prison Reforms team at Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative focusing on advancing access to justice for asylum seekers and other persons in custody. Previously, she has also worked as an Associate at Saakshya Law Advocates, a dispute resolution law firm in Bengaluru where she had the opportunity to represent children in conflict with the law, in collaboration with NLSIU Bangalore's Centre for Child and the Law. Passionate about working for the human rights of marginalised communities, she has also interned at Parichay: the NRC Legal Aid Clinic, Alternative Law Forum, the Centre for Justice, Law and Society, and Daksh. 

At MAP, she is a Catalyst for Change Fellow and assists the Displacement, Movement, and Inclusion team.
