Gauri Thamp
Project Lead
Gauri holds a law degree from Alliance University, Bangalore, and a Master’s in International and Development Studies from the Geneva Graduate Institute, specialising in Mobilities, Migrations and Boundaries. She has over five years of experience working in the migration and development space. Her recent professional experiences include consulting for Nationality for All based in Nepal, working with the Grand Bargain Secretariat hosted by the Norwegian Refugee Council in Geneva, and contributing to research, policy, and advocacy initiatives with organisations such as Border Forensics and DCAF in Geneva. Between 2021 and 2023, she served as a Fellow and later as a Senior Fellow at MAP, where she implemented multiple access-to-justice projects targeting refugees and migrant workers.
At MAP, Gauri is responsible for the implementation and management of the organisation’s pilot programme that focuses on strengthening access to justice for migrant workers through legal awareness, assistance and advocacy.
