Maithili holds a BA in Sociology and Anthropology from St.Xavier’s College and a MA in Peace and Conflict Studies from Tata Institute of Social Sciences.

Prior to this, she was UNICEF consultant at a central Ministry, where she provided programme support for an environmental initiative. As an intern, she interned with Human Rights Law Network Mumbai, Socio-Legal Information Centre Delhi, and International Organisation for Migration’s (IOM) Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific.

At MAP, she works as a Catalyst for Change Fellow with the Displacement, Movement and Inclusion team.
